I bought this unit solely because it had the ideal dimensions for my needs. I have had this cooler for under two years and would not recommend it. The unit was noisy and also started switching on and off every 10 seconds or so. Caple was not interested in the underlying problem and simply referred me to their maintenance contractor (as this was within the warranty period). The engineer tried replacing parts but was not able to fix it despite several call outs. More recently (and out of warranty) the LCD display has broken (as reported by another reviewer) and is not displaying properly; the hinge for the door has shifted so that the door hangs at a slight angle; and, most recently, the cooler exterior overheats while cooling the interior to almost arctic conditions regardless of what the thermostats are set to.

I have had this wine cooler for just over two years now. It is smart, easy to load but there seems to be a problem with the lcd display. The original system broke down within the first twelve months and was changed without query. Now the second display unit is breaking up (by which I mean that the figures are not displaying properly) and the online supplier seems to have disappeared off the radar. Looks like I will have to buy two fridge thermometers (one for each section) and try to find suitable temperatures for the wines.
