Ours has just developed a fault after 5 years and a few weeks. Typical , as we took out an extended warranty to cover 5 years! It no longer spins, i think the motor is broken. To be fair to Whirlpool I suspect we may have overloaded it as i have just noticed from the operating manual that to use the 'Daily' 40 degrees programme you are limited to about 3kg in weight rather than the max limit of 5.5kg. I had just assumed that the max limit applied to all programmes. Did get quite noisy in use and developed some strange noises on normal wash but then seemed to recover from this. Overall not a bad machine - we have averaged about 7-8 washes a week for 5 years.

brill machine i found mine in the local dump and it is like new works like new too. yippee best machine ive ever owned

I have had my machine for 3 years and it has performed well throughout. It required 1 service within the first few months as there was a glitch in its processor, but once replaced, which happened the next day it has remained totally reliable and drying times have reduced with the faster spin.

Broke down after 14 months, concrete counterbalance and retaining bolts on the floor when moved machine, no help from Whirpool, load of rubbish.
