had two of these now, first one burst into flame on the first day we had it even though it wasn't running merely plugged in. If it hadn't been for our smoke detectors we could have been killed. The shop replaced it and our kitchen. The second one has just broken down 13 months to the day since it arrived. Samsung dont want to know about it and say 12 months is an acceptable life span. I say rubbish thats nearly a pound a day in cost. Mnufacturers surveys say 11 years is the best you can expect but 5 years as a minimum ..DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG

UMMM THIS WAS MY FIRST EVER NEW WASHER I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN IT CAME SET IT STRAIGHT UP AND OFF I WENT WASHING THE WHOLE HOUSE AS YOU DO...BUT THEN I HEARD A LOUD NOISE SO I CHECKED EVERYTHING WAS OK NO BENT PIPES AS IT SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS STRAINING TO GET WATER IN...COULDNT FIND ANYTING WRONG FROM MY VIEW SO RANG COMET AND SOMEONE CAME OUT TO LOOK AT IT HA HA HE SAID WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE PROBLEM AND I SHOWED HIM HE HEARD IT AND SAID THATS NORMAL WHAT I SAID IT CANT BE,,, HE THEN SAID ITS THE PUMP IT KEEPS PUMPING EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO WATER SO IT JUST PUMPS OUT AIR EHH WHAT I SAID. WHAT IS THE POINT TIN THIS HE THEN SAID ITS NOISEY BECAUSE IT HAS A PLASTIC MOTOR AND ITS AT THE FRONT OF THE MACHINE NOT THE BACK SO ITS NOISER THEN MOST WASHERS....WELL I WAS NOT TOLD THIS WHEN I BOUGHT IT SO ANYONE OUT THERE WONTING A WASHER DONT BUY THIS ONE IT WILL DRIVE U MAD AND THERES NOTHING U CAN DO ABOUT IT GREAT BIG DRUM THOUGH BUT STILL NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR MY QUILT. DONT BUY THIS MODLE AND CHECK WERE THE PUMP AND MOTOR IS , IF THEY ARE AT THE FRONT DONT BUY IT WILL BE VERY NOISEY

I bought my Samsung P1453W washing machine from Argos. It took 3 weeks to arrive and when it did it started playing up within the first week. To do a 35 minute quick washe programme takes it 1 hour and thiry six minutes, then some days about 45 minutes depending on what mood its in. The digital display keeps on getting stuck between 10 and 11 minutes and it actually takes about 40 minutes to get through this. To make things even worse it sounds like someone is using a Pneumatic drill in the kitchen. When its spinning the whole thing vibrates and is extremely noisy, I've even checked it to make sure all the feet are level on the ground and they are.
