I BOUGHT THE ATLANTIS MACHINE 2 YEARS AGO THIS MONTH IN 2001. AFTER A LITTLE MORE THAN A YEAR THE MACHINE WOULD NOT DRAIN ON THE SPIN CYCLE EVERY TIME. IT WAS INTERMITTENT. IT TOOK A SERVICE MAN 3 TIMES TO REPLACE THE TIMER. NOW ABOUT 8 MONTHS LATER WHEN THE MACHINE IS IN THE SPIN CYCLE IT SOUNDS LIKE A SMALL ENGINE AND VIBRATES THE WHOLE AREA. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PRODUCT. FOR YEARS I HAVE HEARD ABOUT HOW GREAT MAYTAG WASHING MACHINES ARE SO AFTER 7 YEARS WITH A GE WE FINALLY DECIDED TO TRY ONE. THE MAYTAG IS NO BETTER. JUST MORE EXPENSIVE.
