I have had this machine from new for 8 years, it is the best washing machine I have ever purchased. It has never broken down, unlike the many Hotpoint washing machines I owned previously, however now most of the family have left home, the wash loads are less and the machine still washes quietly except when on the last rinse when it is a bit noisey. So now I am on standby worried it is going to breakdown. The codes that come up on the screen are very useful, i.e UE, for Uneven Load. I highly recommend this model and would most definately buy another model or if I can find the same model again that would be great...!
