The drum paddles broke off after 6 weeks. This is just not good enough at any price, or under any "guarantee" Other reviews on the net have indicated that Hotpoint's response to complaints has been substandard, blaming operator error (a coin in the wash!) and predicting expensive repair (which you, not they, will have to pay for). This is obviously a badly designed machine backed by poor company response. Recommend - DON"T BUY ONE
