The WMD 960 range gets a 4 rating due to its being good on features and reasonably priced. The Graphite model, featured here, is priced similar to the Polar White model. For the same features at a slightly higher price consider the WMD 960 A (Aluminium) version. With an 8kg capacity these machines are amongst Hotpoint's largest and the 1600rpm spin is the fastest available from Hotpoint. All the usual features you'd expect such as Woolmark Platinum Care and Hotpoint's own defined Bed & Bath feature which accommodates one double bed set, two singles and four towels.

WMD960G purchased in August 2009. Now the washing machine is dead. Upon half way through a wash the machine made a loud bang, looking into this further the fuse had blown along with fuse in the wall socket and tripping the electrics.Hotpoint are now sending an engineer out to at machine. I have searched the internet and found others in my situation.

After 2.5yrs mine still works but is Rusty all over the front ???????
