bought mine 8/03 with the extra warrenty another £170 on top of £350 i paid userecently started making the loudest noise i have ever heard in a house called hotpoint been out now 5 (yes 5) times had new drum, new motor
new board practically a new interior and what do you know still not working . waste of time wont be buying one of them again and the staff at the call centre one of them even put the phone down on me.useless
appliance,useless repairman,useless aftersales,useless warrenty.

bought washing machine 3 1/2 years ago. the first one (after a month)when spinning spun itself across the floor and it was as if there was some
gremlin inside trying to get out (large dents to the side of the
machine)called the service man who had never seen anything like this before and replaced the machine for a brand new one exactly the same.over the months and years now it has progresivly got louder and louder until it
sounded like there was something trapped inside called the service man again the bearings have gone! okay having a large spin but it doesn't do the bearings any good getting a new one as the noise is just unbearable.
won't be a hotpoint they look good but sound awful.
