Our previous Candy machine caught fire, and we were given this one as a eplacement by the Insurance Company. One important feature lacking on this Hotpoint is a pause feature. With this feature, when washing creasable fabrics, the machine halts when it has finished the washing cycles, but leaves the clothes in water. This way they don't crease up if left for a while. When you are ready you advance the timer one step and the machine empties and spins at a suitable low speed. The door switch isn't reliable, you often have to give the door an extra push to start it. There is a fair amount of vibration. Apart from that, it's ok.
