Reviewed by S on 04/02/2010 Brand new hotpoint/indesit (it's the same company) washing machine in a new build - move in - one month's use - fizzles out - hotpoint/indesit won't acknowledge the warranty even though we have a letter that was sent to the developer from Hotpoint/Indesit stating that it was purchased june 2009, has 5 years parts and 12 months labour and call out cover. After three weeks and four appointments the engineer has only showed up once and didn't have the parts to fix it. Hotpoint/Indesit also changed an appointment day on us without telling us. Had to take out new warranty insurance. Still not fixed a month later - no washing machine working. Rating:
Reviewed by sam on 25/01/2010 The paddles breaking off is a problem. I've orderd new ones but am having trouble fitting them as there are no instructions. Having read others' reviews this looks like a problem that Hotpoint could've got round with a bit of improved design on paddles - that are meant to bear a heavier load. Can't be bothered with all the flim flam of ringing and waiting etc. just let me know how to fit the new ones! Rating:
