I would never buy a Hoover washing machine again. Ours is only 2 years old and has had a new selector switch and is now turning itself off just as it goes to spin. I am now at a point where I try other parts or just scrap it! Think I will scrap it after reading reviews. My mum in laws' washing machine is 16 years old and still going! Don't buy this heap!!!!

this is a replacement machine and is 18 months old first hoover blew up and this one is no better heater element went first pressaure switch now gone never buy another hoover washing machine again

DO NOT BUY any Hoover machines. My one lasted about 3 months before the problems started, and it has eaten a small mountain of spares. Shame on Hoover designers. Zero stars out of 10.

Bought one May 2009, had it 3 days and went on fire. Replaced that one, had to call engineer out in December with heater problem. Now just out of warranty this one has gone on fire... DO NOT TOUCH THIS WITH A BARGE POLE. I'm going to buy a cheaper Zanussi one again, which lasted 9 years last time!! Shame on you Hoover.

Machine has again broken down. Selector switch needs replacing. This will be the third one. I know nothing lasts for ever but FIVE months !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brill! just got it looks great massive drum very quiet. tumble dryer actually gets clothes dry! will update in a month.
