I have had problems with machine since purchase. As there is only a cold fill the cold water fails to dissolve the detergents and fabric conditioners. I have had Error 09 regularly since purchase some months ago. Hoover say it is an outlet blockage but engineer could not find one. I tested outlet pump and pipework several times and all fine. Good head of water. Engineer said he was not sure I could connect into sink waste - something everyone can do for last 30 years. Last Hoover used same arrangement withour problems for years. He says I should bang a hole thru wall and make a separate connection. Why? What would this achieve? I have an engineering background and I can see there is no pumping problem. Hoover has started putting in the useful filter to stop pins, grips and coins entering the pump. V Good but machine is proving a nuisance. Very disappionted - but manual says only one thing - Call out Engineer. So that's all I can do. I suggest ratings shown generally are masking the problems that I am experiencing.
