Total rubbish - concrete block fell off in pieces - looks unrepairable and less than 2 years old - do not buy Hoover

we had the same problem the drum sheared right of in the end they replaced it with a new one which has been noisey from two months old now unbearable . it is 10 months old

I payed almost 600pounds for that washer dryer and has broken down four times since i bought it (7 months)It s good when it works but.. most of the time is broken I had it replaced once because it was faulty from the beginning. I am so disappointed .

I cant believe what i am reading about this machine. Mine is just over a year old and has developed exactly the same problem as C Lowman"S. I am so dissappointed because i assumed the star rating was a guide to its reliability aswell as energy use, how wrong am i Waiting now for the depaetment to open first thing tomorrow.

The machine is 9 months old and has started making terrible banging noises when spinning. The drum is actually banging on the top cover and two metal rings - one sheared have fallen through to the floor. Waiting for hoover to come out to look at it - but it looks like a common problem.

Easy to use programes, great drum size.Was ok for the first spin,but after that it was noisy, within 1 year the spin became unbearably noisy, and it developed a leak from the drum.

4 faults in one year. The final one being the concrete block coming off and hoover then wanting to carry out a repair.

Ok at the start but just after a year, the 1600 rpm was too much for the concrete blocks that almost recked the rest of the kitchen when they flew off.

I was looking for a AAA rated machine and couldn't be happier with this purchase. One of the brilliant aspects is the 15 minute wash which I use a lot for things like underwear and work tops that aren't dirty but need freshening up. The 45 minute wash is excellent for main wash items such as bedding, towels, jeans, T shirts etc. I haven't got a young family so don't have to deal with nappies or muddy clothing but have no doubt that this machine would give good results. I think it's a good looking machine too.
