WARNING WARNING BEWARE!!! We purchased this Hoover Washer after looking at many others Purchased from comet (very poor customer service) and at 1st it was an outstanding washer, large capacity wash, good variable spin speed, and adjustable temperature. suited our life style.after it was 2 months old yes (2 months) Only problem is this machine is not built to last, it uses a plastic outer drum which is damaged very easily. we all know you shouldn't have coins or nuts & bolts etc.. in your washing. But did you know an under wire bra will damage the outer drum, it did too ours, the comet engineer took 5 seconds to diagnose ours, a hole in the outer plastic drum. he said was coin damaged and not covered under warranty. after speaking to customer services, i was informed they get a call about this every other day. and it is £200 to replace the outer drum, which is not covered by the warranty. I thought these would be built to last, but they are not. after investigation, very few washing machines use stainless steel outer drums, years ago they used to be mostly enamelled steel stainless steel. now they are plastic to reduce costs. Make sure you have accidental damage cover for the washer as the normal warranty won't cover you washing your bra's regards......

A great washing machine so much quieter and the 8kg load is fantastic. So many ranges of washes they haven't missed out anything. As for the price it is great for what you get. An excellent hoover product I just hope it lasts longer than my last washing machine which wasn't a hoover appliance I must add!!!!
