Had this machine for a year and a week. It seemed to be great (hence the two stars) till about a week ago when it started making a terrific noise during any kind of spin action. The balance weight had broken and the guarantee period has just expired. Hoover will repair it for you for the sum of £167.80! The spare part costs anything from £18 to £34.00. I do not intend to buy Hoover ever again!

Terrible washing machine - had the machine just over a year. Leaks from underneath, does not automatically spin after any wash programme so we now have to put a manual spin on after the wash has finished. Would never buy a Hoover again!
