Reviewed by Jay Bal on 01/01/2012Bought it a few months ago, but did not use as old machine was still working well. Finally installed last week, worked fine for a week. Good cleaning, quiet, but now no power when switched on! Rating:   Reviewed by dan on 07/02/2011 there are a few quirks with these that need ironing out. A wire falls off in transit and needs re-fixing. there are plastic lugs on the drum that grab the wires on the mainboard and pull them off. Hoover have not made alot of effort to give build quality some priority. They are not super silent either on account of the fact the large drum dances around alot make the door seal "drum" and bang until it gets up to speed. Rating: Reviewed by P McCready on 23/07/2010 I have had 3 of these machines in less thana week!!!!!! and costing over £550 you would at least expect 10 years, I can't believe my luck, The first one did 4 loads of washing before it decided to die, took it back to the store I purchased it from, got a new one, it showed an error code at the end of the cycle E14. An engineer came out offered to replace parts, declined due to the fact that it was under 24 hours old when problem occured, a new machine was delivered and installed by hoover, they tested it which was fine, they left, I tried a load of washing, it died!!!, what can I say, I hope Hoover's customer services bleep machine is working better than their very expensive washing/or sometimes washing machine is, I think I will get a cheap second hand machine from someone that is silly enough to upgrade to a Hoover DST10146P that will probably work for years without any hassle!!!!
