Do not buy this machine! 2 weeks after the year guarantee expired I had to pay out £60 as one of the brushes had worn down and my drum wouldn't turn. The repairman said this shouldn't happen in such a young machine, and that it must have left factory in a faulty condition. You can't spin only one item as water comes out of the machine somewhere underneath and pools on the floor near the front. An unpleasant smell comes from the machine, even when you use it every day. 2 days ago (6 months after the last repair) it decided to switch to a boil wash programme no matter what programme I actually selected. I found out a work colleague has the same model and she has paid out for repairs twice, and it still doesn't function correctly on a certain programme. I am cutting my losses and am buying a new machine today, only 18 months after buying this one. Save your monry for a reliable brand - certainly not Candy!!

door seal smells unpleasant due to build-up of dark "sludge" after 12 months use - we use non-bio but usually wash at 40 so if you are buying because you are eco-conscious, beware......
