A HEAP OF JUNK!!!!! Was given this machine to replace previous CANDY that was on an extended guarantee - (It had to be replaced as there was so much wrong with it that it wasn't viable to repair it!!) Within 6 weeks this CANDY CM1166 had started playing up (programs not as should be) told that as it was a replacement it wasn't covered by guarantee. IT IS NOW ONLY 18 MONTHS OLD and in the past 6 months the heater has stopped working, the program dial has to be left on 40 degree cotton wash for the machine to go at all, the front of the powder drawer has fallen off, the start button has vanished in behind faschia and only way is to insert wooden spoon handle in and press little red 'dot' to start - (I'm having to fill it with hot water through a hose from the tap to do a wash which is not ideal). Cannot afford a big repair and knowing the total amount of problems that last machine had, I cannot risk getting an engineer to look at this one in case the repair costs escalate and it is not under a gua rantee. Over the years I've had a few different washing machines- Hotpoint, Zanussi and Indesit, but I've never seen such problems as there has been with the Candy. NEVER, EVER AGAIN WILL I BUY A CANDY - TOTAL JUNK!!!
