I find this machine to be very quiet in operation. It washes well, but the spin is hit and miss. I cannot get it to spin at 1600rpm, as the spin is set by depression of a button rather than by clockwork. The apin speed is displayed - usually a low one, so the clothes come out sopping wet. You definitely need your clothes line with this machine.
