The AEG L62810 comes with a 6 Kg drum, 1200rpm spin speed and is available in white.
The AEG L62810 is quiet in operation, with a sound level of only 54dB(A) during washing. Use of highly efficient motors, effective insulating materials and out of balance control ensures that the machine operates quietly even when spinning.
AEG washing machines feature a unique stain action programme, which is designed to optimise the effectiveness of in wash stain removers for maximum cleaning power.
AEG's innovative hand wash programme allows 'hand wash only' garments such as silks, woollens and other delicates to be safely washed at up to 40°C. All AEG washing machines have a super-gentle wool programme called the Wool-Cradle which gently rocks your woollens to and fro. The wash temperature is limited to a safe 40°C, and a gentle spin eases the rinse water out of the clothes.
The "Easy Iron" programme helps prevent creasing of the laundry.
This model comes with fuzzy logic load adjustment. The intelligent fuzzy logic will detect when the laundry is out of balance and re-arrange it, to ensure minimum wear and tear to the drum bearings. The fuzzy logic also detects if too much detergent has been added and adds extra rinses if required.
The AEG L62810 has a 4-compartment detergent dispenser. For best results this model has a four-stage dispensing system ensuring that water softening agents, detergent, in-wash stain removers and fabric softeners are all dispensed at exactly the right time.
One of the features of the AEG L62810 is an electronic time remaining indicator. The same display can also show the programme time remaining. It also has an LED programme stage indicator - LEDs light up to indicate which stage the drying cycle is at.
Another feature is the delay timer, a 19-hour delay start function which allows you to programme the start up to 19 hours in advance to make use of cheaper night-time electricity, for example. Or if you wish, you can extend the time the laundry soaks in the wash solution.
This model also features AEG's Aqua Control system that provides all round water protection. The inlet hose can withstand water pressures many times greater than those found in a domestic mains water supply. If there is an internal leak a sensor, located in the base of the machine, activates the pump to clear water from the appliance. A safety level switch does the same if the water level within the machine exceeds a safe level.
The energy efficiency class is graded: 'A'. 'A+' being the best for energy efficiency, 'G' being the worst.
The AEG L62810 is very reasonably priced, and comes highly recommended.
