Reviewed by Peter G on 08/11/2011 First one I had engineer was called out on 5 occasions, to repair the same fault. After the drying cycle ended the drum filled with water. SMEG gave me a new machine 2 years later the same fault returned. Now out of warrantee they are not interested. Not good when you pay +£600 for a machine..... Rating:
Reviewed by Rita Meehan on 31/03/2011 Purchased my Smeg Washer/Dryer WDF16BAX1 2.5 years ago...very expensive in comparison to other Brands. It is only used once/twice a week for a couple... so hardly intensive use. The Dryer Function has developed a loud vibrating noise...even though I always weigh the washing to ensure it doesn't exceed 2.5 kg. We now have to open the Detergent Drawer to reduce the racket. I have Emailed Smeg re the problems...as yet no reply. Typical that the problems have occured 6 months after the warranty has run out. Rating:
