Reviewed by R Johnson on 07/12/2007 Over-all extremely pleased with this machine. One issue that has manefested itself is the regularity in which the condenser pipe gets blocked with hair and fluff. I have had the unit for nearly two years and it only gets used for drying in the winter, but within 1-2 months of use with the dryer the condenser pipe is completely blocked and requires an engineer call-out to remove the dryer unit and condenser unit so that the pipework and where the condenser pipe fits the back of the drum can be cleared. This equates to 3 to 4 call-outs per year on this one issue - far too excessive, I think, for normal domestic use. Having brought this to LG's attention, an engineer recommended running a boil wash every 6 weeks or so, suggesting this should keep it clear - I have yet to find out if this resolves it. I have never had this issue with any previous washer-dryers I have owned (over 25 years). Rating:
