Reviewed by Keith Alexander on 01/03/2008This machine is rubbish; I've owned it for less than 4 months and in the same day two of the drum paddles broke off during a spin cycle. When the drum paddles come off they expose a razor sharp piece of stainless steel which then adds 'shredding' to the washer/dryers feature list. Because I couldn't find my receipt from Curry's for the machine, Indesit informed that I could either pay £100 for their "Engineer" to visit me or I could subscribe to their £16:00 a month service plan which I would be obligated to stay with for a full 12 months should I make a claim under the plan. This was despite the fact that according to their database the serial number showed it to have been less than one year old. A local spares shop finally sold me the drum paddles for £8:50 each and advised me on how to fit them myself; they just click into place. So I fitted them myself and avoided giving £100 to Indesit! Rather than spend money out on service plans with companies that produce trash like this I will just buy a more expensive machine in future - I've learned my lesson! Rating: ![]()
