Reviewed by Lisa McGeorge on 08/09/2007A1600WD Bought in january 07 and been fine up till now - the handbook said 'if the 'key' flashes reapidly along with one of the other buttons - there is a fault' Engineer was supposed to call the following day but couldnt find us - another appointment was made for the diagnosis and when I told the operator I was sick of having to take days out of my annual leave to have sub standard appliances repaired she said they do carry spares so he may be able to fix it. Surprise Surprise he didnt have the spare I needed and arranged to call thee days later. He left it in working order but 48 hrs later the rault has re-occurred. Another day of work - will update when and if it gets fixed. He Told me indesit will replace the machine because it is only 4 days old (ONLY 4 DAYS).... After many phone calls to indesit and empty promises from Indesit I am still waiting. Big waste of time and Money. Rating: ![]() Reviewed by Stephen Jenkins on 25/07/2006 Well having just moved into my new house I decided to fit a new kitchen, being on a budget I opted for the wd12x as it was the cheapest washer dryer I could get. I have been in my house for 3 weeks and my brand new washer dryer has packed in. I have called Indesit and an engineer will be with me in the morning between 8am and 1pm. Will update this site with the outcome. The fault in case you are interested is it will not do a cycle, opting to just click round the cycles. I have a 10 day old baby so this is not suitable Rating: ![]() Reviewed by Rachel on 12/02/2006 Don't go near it - it's broken down more times than I can count in the 2 years we've had it, and the only reason we've kept it so long is that we had it insured. Engineer after engineer has replaced everything that's replaceable without getting to the bottom of its 'intermittant fault'. Doesn't even get the clothes particularly clean. Rating: ![]() Reviewed by irate customer on 17/12/2005 The most biggest waste of time i have ever had the misfortune to use. It gets very hot, so not child friendly, it is very noisey, so buy it if you do not wanna sleep and as if to add insult to grave injury, it breaks down so often you may as well buy seasonal tokens to the laundrette. To top it up, the people at INDESIT are extremelly unhelpfull when you need it sorted out. INDESIT goods are thus barred from my house Rating: ![]()
