Reviewed by A Clayton on 01/04/2012We paid a lot of money for a top end spec machine and being Hoover expected excellent quality. What did we get? The worse machine ever, if its not error codes, then its the dancing across the kitchen floor from the vibrations produced while spinning, before I get any replies, yes solid floor and all levelled up. Five year parts guarantee only, cheaper to buy another washing machine than have the engineer out.The machine cost us just over £600. I know, should have gone to Spec Savers. Please don't buy. Rating:   Reviewed by dr rawden on 25/03/2012 this has got to be the worst machine ever - iom a cancer patient - living in a hospital. so this machine was used three single times. it broke down - it was a wire that came of something - it was 3 days out of garuntee - fight for the re-paior to be free - in the end they agreed to it . three weeks latter - its broken agian . even tho its the first time since repair man left - they wont do anythihg. so its going it managed 4 loads of clothes - and two it managed too dry . o=one full load it runied and the other - a bedding set double quyilt cover twop empyt pillow cases and double bottom sheet it was not able to spin. im in a wheel chair - on the phone they talked me though getting the door unlocked - did not worn me thbat i was going to get drenshed - pulling the bedding out. please be carfull iof you wont good customer services - do not pick hoover - y is there no a 0 as 1 seems too good for a hoover washong machonhe Rating: Reviewed by Steve Stewart on 19/03/2012 Terrible machine. I bought this because of the great spec. Large load capacity, AA rating etc. In the first year I had engineers out three times under warranty. Since then in the last six months it's broken a further two times. Each time it stops with a different error code. Inside, the electrical components are just too flimsy and the vibration of the machine causes them to break. It's a bad design combined with cost-cutting on the components. I won't be buying Hoover ever again. Rating: Reviewed by lorenlukemum on 28/01/2012 We also bought this machine thinking it would be better quality as we paid a lot more than we were hoping to. Broke down after 2 months with an electrical fault, all sorts of error codes. A few months later one of the paddles in the drum came off tearing up some of my clothes, three days after the engineer repaired it another one fell off! At 15 months old another paddle fell off, when the engineer came he said the others were loose so he replaced all three. Here I am 1 wash later (and a pile of still wet clothes) with 2 broken paddles. Customer Support want to replace the paddles again - I say what's the point?! It's obviously a design fault. Rating: Reviewed by Johnny on 23/12/2011 Bought this machine thinking with all the technology built in it would make our life easier,but after just two weeks we had error code 14 problems,the machine would just freeze up after a cycle and there we re bits of rubber off the door seal all over the clothes!! What makes it worse was that the machine only ran 6 times!!!! Rating: Reviewed by Paul Flinders on 28/09/2011 Bought this machine sept 2010, the high spec, load size and spin speed with all in one dryer facilities were the atraction. Over the first 12 months the machine broke down three times (which turns out to be quite good for Hoover!), I am a fully qualified engineer and observed the repairs, all of which were due to very bad build quality and bad design of simple parts. As Hoover wanted over £200 for an extended warante I now fix it myself and in the last few weeks it has had error codes 3 and 11 come up. It is turning in to a nightmare and i would not touch another Hoover product again. In summary good spec, let down by bad design and absolutely awfull build quality. Rating:
