The machine's bearings have "gone" after ony 18 months of normal use. Ariston offer to replace all parts within a 5 year period, but charge a call out fee of over B#90 !!! If you call a non authorised repair man out, this invalidates the 5 year guarantee. Will not pay B#90 + after only 18 months. Have written a complaint to Ariston. Overall the machine has been good and meets our requirements, however the bearings going so quickly is unacceptable. Do Aristons go "on and on" ???

Doesn't wash clean, can't rinse washing detergent out a large load, spins so loud it sounds like a plane taking off, drys clothes so hot that if the smell of burning rubber doesn't make you switch the machine off, you'll never be able to iron the creases out....and this is after the machine has been completely fixed by their engineer. I wish I'd never bought it.

Purchased: 15-12-2003. Stopped working: 15-12-2003. 16-12-2003: told that it could not be repaired before Xmas and that parts may not be available (and that was told to us by Ariston).
