i would give this cleaner a thumbs up,its light,reasonable value and does the job,the only downside is the fact if you carry by the handle on the canister,the retaining catch above isnt good and departs easly from the main body,leaving you only holding that and possibly the cleaner ending up at the bottom of the stairs. its solid enough for day to day use and carries all the on board tools,the filter is easly cleaned by tapping on a smooth surface,plus there isnt any filters to buy,the belt lasts along timeand shoulnt need replacing often. i used to have a dyson dc01 but these fall to bits,the hose splits,wheels fall of and the body crumbles.also watch where the mains lead leaves the machine,if it feels lumpy change the lead now as it splits and a blue spark appears.i wouldnt go back to dyson and dont fooled by them.
