Fantastic on carpet and hard floor, very powerful vacuum. Had two years and am just needing to replace brush bar, apart from that very good!

was sold and advertised as able to work on carpet and hard floor so we bought it.cleans carpets very well(the 1 crpeted room)hard floors forget it brush bar cant be turned off and even at lowest setting it just throws the dirt behind you and well makes more of a mess.so moral dont beleive the hype carpets good hard floors you will have wasted your money you have been warned we paid £185 when it 1st came out what a waste£25 hoover from supermarket vastly superior

After my old vacuum cleaner decided to give up I wanted something that is strong durable and can work for long hours after looking around I came across this VAX V-008 vacuum cleaner it was exactly what I needed it was durable strong and had a reduced price.
After I unloaded it from the car I opened the box I was quite happy as only the handle needed screwing in. NOW FOR THE TEST. I lifted the vacuum cleaner it was quite heavy but that wasnt a problem I set the carpet height adjustment dial to the required setting push the power button it started up slowly and quitley and then it made more noise and It only took one stroke for the dust to start coming in the dustcup it has excellent sucking power. The turbotool works great and the stretch hose is very long. I would reccomend this.
