I have now had this model for around six months. I previously had a Dyson (horrible) and before that an AEG which lasted me 10 years before giving out. This Miele is by far the best vacuum that I have had and I would not hesitate to recommend it. Look at the extended warranty offer that comes with the machine as the free dustbags that come from Miele with the extended warranty make the extended warranty worthwhile.
