Whatever you do, DO NOT buy this piece of junk. It is heavy to move around, doesn't work properly, is a nightmare to store and has ruined my sex life. Hoover won't entertain any complaints about it, (see Amazon reviews). We bought one after having problems with cheaper products and decided to splash out on something more expensive, it was the wrong decision. The extending tube pops open constantly due to a design fault, which favours left handed people, and is then like trying to get a rampant python back into a Smartie tube. If you clean more than one or two rooms at a time then you will need to clean the filter each time you use the machine, which renders it pretty useless as you have to wash the filter and let it dry naturally in for about 24 hrs. If you continue to use the machine when the filter is blocked, whch it will get very quickly, you might as well get on your hands and knees and like the dirt up, which would be a more efficient way of cleaning. I said it ruined my sex life, that's because I'm constantly lying awake at night in a state of panic worrying about the beast in the cellar and what on earth I'm going to do if God help me I spill some self-raising flour on the kitched carpet. Save yourselves and your families and buy something better!!!!!
