WAS RECOMMENDED AND NEEDED POWERFUL SUCTION SO BOUGHT THIS ONE. BUT ... HARD TO GET HOLD OF REPLACEMENT BAGS AND EXPENSIVE. NOZZLES AND TUBES DEFINITELY NOT USER FRIENDLY. SLIDE UP BY THEMSELVES AND CONSTANTLY CATCH HAND AND SKIN. POWERFUL SUCTION DIMINISHES QUICKLY. ONLY BENEFIT IS THAT THEY ARE QUITE QUIET. WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS MAINLY BECAUSE OF BAD DESIGN OF EXTENDABLE TUBING.

I was really chuffed with this Hoover when I bought it as it sucked like a demon. Then I had to buy replaceable bags and was stung when I found out they cost nearly £7 for 5 bags and there was no cheap generic bag available. Once the bags are about half full, the demon like quality diminishes rapidly until the suck is barely noticeable. Having had mine for a year and spent more on bags than on the unit, I am now about to
throw my hand in and get another one. If you can afford the replacement bags and have a small house, buy it. If you have a lot of carpets to clean or a hairy dog (like me), go for something else
