It is a piece of junk. We previously had a 1600W and it had several breakdowns. Now we have the 1900W and same old game. It won't stand up, wheel has fallen off, out of warranty and out of luck.

we purchased this purepower from CO-OP online, had a 1600w previous, but this 1900w has failed once,high pitched whistle noise,gasket failure,and now it will not stand up catch is broken,now out of warranty,also the filter system is not up to much,I don't think I will be purchasing a replacement by Hoover?,**

we purchased a hoover purepower 1900 watt bagged about 6 months ago. so far it has been an excellent hoover. I have had bagless hoovers in the past and they were a real fiddle to empty the canister and i always got covered in dust. the purepower has more wattage than a dyson and about the same air watts. I have 3 children so as you can imagine the hoover is out every day, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. the only downside to the hoover is that it tips over easily when you a reaching with the hose to clean somewhere. Also it is quite noisy and sometimes it emmits a high pitched whistle when using the hose (usually when i have the hose stretched to the top of the stairs.
