Reviewed by Julie Merenda on 05/04/2008We have had this hoover for approximately 5 months and I cannot express how useless this machine is. We have laminate flooring throughout the downstairs and the hoover barely picks anything up - and what it does pick up it seems to blow out of the back of the hoover leaving a nice little pile of bits and fluff behind. It continually falls over when using the attachments and the length of the power cord is awfully short. I chose this machine as couldnt afford a Dyson at the time but in hindsight this has cost us more as we now need to pay for another. False economy. I will also be complaining to Hoover. Avoid at all costs. Rating: ![]() Reviewed by John Rawlins on 03/02/2008 In common with other reviews I have read this is an appalling machine. Despite Hoover replacing the dusbag assembly with a revised version under warranty it's motor always cuts out due to overheating within a few minutes of use (filters regularly cleaned in accordance with the manufacturers instructions), the filters need cleaning on an extremely regular basis and the level of suction available for such a nominally powerful machine is pathetic. I have also complained to Hoover as to why they have introduced the "bgless" system used on this machine when the original bagged system required far less effort from the user than the new system. Rating: ![]() Reviewed by SUE FOWLER on 03/01/2008 I HAVE ONLY HAD THIS HOOVER FOR THREE MONTHS AND IT HAS NEVER PICKED UP PROPERLEY THE DIRT HAS TO GO AROUND THE WHOLE TUBE THEN IT CONTINULEY GETS BLOCKED. I AM NOW BUYING A NEW CLEANER BUT DUE TO THIS BAD EXPERINCE I DO NOT KNOW WHICH CLEANER TO BUY. Rating: ![]() Reviewed by R Langley on 20/12/2007 Hard work. Keeps falling over, filter needs cleaning and dust box emptying every use. Will pick up dust but anything else will block filter. Put up with it for a year, then cut my losses and dumped it. Rating: ![]() Reviewed by Anon on 09/12/2007 This product is so bad on all levels that I am surprised it is still available in the shops. Dont buy it, it's quite simply the worst vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. I have thrown it out after 6 long months and cant wait to get a new one, needless to say, not a Hoover. Rating: ![]() Reviewed by G Wilson on 16/11/2007 Disgracefully bad. Problem with overheating. Pitiful suction. Threw mine away. Completely useless and not fit for purpose. Rating: ![]() Reviewed by Anonymous on 10/07/2007 This is an extremly poor product. I had to have the motor replaced after 1 year of very little use, it over-heats quickly and takes ages to work again and it has now begun to stop and start of its own accord every few seconds, as well as needing emptying very frequently. I will avoid any Hoover products in future. Rating: ![]() Reviewed by r smith on 06/07/2007 This is the worst cleaner we have ever used .the filter needs cleaning during use loss of suction in seconds.very poor design. Rating: ![]()
