Reviewed by R. G. on 06/09/2010 This machine is a total waste of time and I will replace it at once with a product that is fit for the purpose intended. The main fault is the fact that the filter blocks within ten minutes of starting to vacuum. I then empty the filter and ten minutes later it blocks again. Also there is an enormous amount of heat generated from it and I feel it would set on fire easily. I am in the process of demanding my money back as the sale of goods act specifies that a product must be fit for the purpose intended. Rating:

Reviewed by Slim from Uttoxeter on 24/12/2008 The good bits: Its very powerful and sucks up dirt and dust that the previous vacuum cleaners didn't touch... it's brilliant in this respect. The bad bits: Due to the fact it's so efficient at sucking up the dirt, it fills its container and all of the hoses in no time... and then it falls over. I don't think they tested the design properly as its centre of gravity is over the back hose and only takes a small tug for it to fall over. It's a small problem but it is annoying. Rating:
Reviewed by A.H. on 29/11/2008 This vacuum should be taken off sale, it is a danger in & outside the home. Problem...it continually tips over during use. In the 2 weeks since I have had mine...damage caused...a broken glass top coffee table, a dent in my car. scratches to my interior decor....all due to it continually tipping over during use. It does however have a good set of extras, especially the turbo brush for pet hairs. Having said that, you can get these tools on other vacuums, I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU DO....THIS VACUUM IS A DISASTER Rating:
Reviewed by CJG on 07/10/2008 Sucks well when filters are clean but they clog up too often and washing involves a long drying time when the cleaner is out of action. Lightweight plastic body tips back too easily with its attachments on board and also when extension hose is in use. Changing from carpet to tool mode is awkward with a lot of bending. The motor runs warm and when it cuts out after a while needs 30 mins to cool. This Hoover is not practical for regular extensive housework in a house of any size, though it might be OK in short bursts for a small flat. Rating:
Reviewed by pamela coupland on 10/05/2008 Worst vacuum cleaner I've ever owned. Tipped over easily when using tools. Clogged up very easily. Also I didn't think cable length was very generous.Has now packed in after six months(burning smell and smoking)Can't find receipt but will be glad to get rid of. Rating:
Reviewed by L Osborne on 22/12/2007 By far the worst vacuum cleaner I have ever used! It was great the first time we used it, so we also bought my dad one, but further use has revealed it to be pretty useless. Ours blocks up at least every other time it is used - we have 3 short haired cats & it can't even cope with that, so my dad with his long haired dog is screwed! His blocks almost as soon as I turn it on. The hose suction is so weak that brushing my stairs would probably be more effective! When it isn't blocked, it is reasonable for it's power & cleans well, but not when using the hose & tools. Hoover say it will not block if we remove the filters - fundamental design flaw?? What is the point in having filters & then saying the machine will work better without? I will be buying a new vacuum cleaner - Vax or Dyson are much better in my experience. Rating:
Reviewed by d johnson on 09/10/2007 i find this hoover pretty much all the hype makes it out to be. it sucks up dust and dirt i didnt know we had(and im very house proud) and provides me with plenty of cable and hose for those hard to reach places and stairs. it isnt too noisy and the pet hair tool is truly amazing, its like a mini tornado whizzing round and virtually all cat hair is sucked away. the cylinder is easy to empty and filters are easy to wash and clean.on the whole a great hoover for a reasonable price. if you can"t afford the original bagless cleaner i suggest this be your next buy. 8/10.**** Rating:
