Reviewed by A Stewart on 16/09/2007 Our electrolux twin clean gave up the ghost after only 8 months. The filters did not clean themselves adequately: I noticed that last time it was in use a "dirty" smell was around even though there was no signal showing that we should clean the filters by rotating etc. When I lifted them out I was SHOCKED to see how much dirt was attached and also there was a long matted skein of our cats fur "gumming up the works". I bought this vacuum thinking it would deal with cat fur well. Go back to the retailer tomorrow to see what they will do. Definitely the advertising about never cleaning the filters is misleading. Note too that the advertising literature says you have to rinse them about every 12-15 months yet we had ours for only 8 months. Our family is just 2 adults one cat ie not a particularly hard-living set up. AS Rating:
