I bought this last year to replace an old upright cleaner. It's rubbish compared to an upright, it doesn't pick up lots of grit/pet hair/bits, it's really hard work. The hose is really stiff and not at all stretchy, so it catches on things and gets in the way. The extendable handle only locks in position with all three sections out, so if you accidentally touch the top catch the whole handle collapses on you and tries to take your finger end off! This is very easy to do if you are a small woman and not a hunky tall bloke because the handle is really too long. It weighs a ton and it is easily the worst cleaner I have ever bought and I have had everything from cheap to dear over a period of more than 30 years! Good points are it's easyish to empty and store, and it does look cool. So if it's image you are after over function, it's all yours!
