We have owned a DC 07 for several years and find that we constantly need to fiddle with it because it does not pick up dust & dirt on wooden floors and carpet properly. The hose provides loads of suck but in normal use the suck appears to leak from the various joints. Overall we are disappointed and would not recommend it

I have owned this item for several years and absolutely love it. The downside is it's heavy to manoevre and my elderly mother refuses to use it. personally that's a small price to pay for it's fantastic cleaning power.Because of this I am considering a cylinder model for stairs.
