Too heavy and too much suction. Eats loose rugs and lightweight carpets for breakfast. Hard to move around and impossible to carry up and down stairs. Tools are a challenge as well. Go for one of the smaller Dysons, not an upright.

soooo bad does pick up anything buy a different vaccum cleaner such as a cheap from a supermarket

This is a monster vacuum cleaner, too heavy making it difficult to use andit hurt my back. Dyson suction is good, but like most uprights it doesn't pick up dirt from carpets too well, and is useless on hard floors as it sticks to the surface, especially linoleum. Get a different Dyson instead.
