Puchased our machine Febuary 2004.In November 2005 black marks were being deposited on clothes. Whirlpool were unable to fix fault and after much grief they replaced it. Now the new machine - just over a year old has developed the same fault!!!!! We are going to dump it and buy a different make.

We purchased one of these in 2005 to stack on top of the whirlpool washing machine we already had which was one year old at the time. All was fine until one week after the 1 year guarentee had expired, then the catch broke on the door. We ordered a new one at our expense. This lasted another 8 months and that then broke. The door is all cracked and the front panel also has a huge crack. It still works with the help of duck tape. But i would never buy whirlpool again especially as i have just had a local appliance engineer here today to fix my broken whirpool washing machine and it is not worth fixing and it is less than 3 years old and was not one of the cheapest models at the time.
