The T7644C was a brand new model when we bought it in 2006 and we have suffered from a number of different problems. We have a large family and have to dry a lot of washing in the machine including towels. We originally experienced a leak from the back left hand side of the machine caused by a blockage in the condensing system which only the engineer could sort out by taking the sides off. The drum also vibrated very loudly when the machine got hot and after 3 attempts to fix it they gave up and we had a new machine. We have just had to have an engineer out to fix the new machine because of another blockage. It transpires that there is a part at the bottom of the machine that in which a water tube can block with fluff. It is impossible to completely prevent fluff from getting into the condenser and thus through the machine so it turns out that these blockages are not uncommon. This time the block is so bad that they have had to order a replacement part as they could n't unblock it. This would appear to me to be a design fault and is linked to the amount of use and also the amount of fluff that comes off the laundry. I suspect that this is a design flaw given that it is a new model and that we have had the same problem with two completley different machines. Other than that the machine is very good when it works, but I would not spend so much money on a machine again as we have previously had much less expensive machines give far fewer problems.
