Reviewed by bob on 19/06/2008loads of problems, thought i would be ok going cheap with this machine. Learnt my lesson here, you pay for what you get! drum bearings gone twice, thermostat and heater gone etc, not even used that heavily. dont get one pleeeeeeeese! Rating:   Reviewed by Frank Parsons on 31/03/2008 Another failure! Bought a new washing machine (WF32G) which experienced drum bearing failure. It cost approx £90 (free parts from Hotpoint Ha Ha)to be repaired by them. The VTD20 drier has now had drum failure, needing complete new drum just within parts warranty but will have to pay another £90 call out charge. Engineer says this is design fault & common on this model. Do not buy Hotpoint!!! This product is only just outside of warranty and I am finding it is noisy and it does not dry my clothes properly. I am very disappointed and would not touch another Hotpoint appliance. Rating:
