Reviewed by anon on 19/02/2008had this dryer for less than two years now dead had engineer out and said it was not worth fixing very disappointed with this dryer as i always buy hotpoint products and had my last washer/dryer 20 years with no problems and was used every day! Rating:   Reviewed by John Roberts on 03/03/2007 Our CTD40 is just just about 2 years old now and the cut out stat has just failed for the second time, the must be a design fault ? the removeable condensing unit is difficult to clean properly, the must be better dryers out there for the money !! No good having a large load if you can only effectively dry stuff one by one. What a waste of time. Rating: Reviewed by Laura on 04-06-2006 Bought this 9 months ago. It takes twice as long to dry a load as my old one did. The thermostat has just gone. The day we puchased it, one of the pipes was broken. Don't touch this with a barge pole! Rating:
