Reviewed by tony on 03/01/2011 the biggest pile of rubbish ! we managed to get nearly 3 years service from it but only after several repairs and the noise from day one is terrible but has got worse with age(sounded more like a cement mixer than a dryer !) i definitely will not get another hotpoint Rating:
Reviewed by Gerry on 02/09/2010 Dryer worked fine until our last move and then it sounded as water got into electrics made a whining noise and burnt electric smell so did not think safe to use. Also the door catch was very poorly made. However yes a little noisy but always dryed our clothes well. Had good 3 years of service out of it. Rating:

Reviewed by Ian on 17/06/2008 DO NOT BUY! I have had this dryer about two years and it is beyond economical repair. The pump that draws water to the reservoir failed causing water to pool on the electrics and it has became so noisy that our neighbors thought that we were using a pneumatic drill!!!! Rating:
Reviewed by Rebecca on 24/09/2007 DO NOT BUY! Dryer is extremely noisy and makes the room really hot. As per previous reviews - hot air stopped working and just after the guarantee expired. Hotpoint not interested! Would never buy another item from hotpoint. Rating:
Reviewed by Marigold on 23/08/2007 i dont know how long ive had my dryer - probably only a couple of years and it has broken already, the drum has seized up. i had a hotpoint washing machine also which has caused me problems. hotpoint make very poor quality products and i would never buy another hotpoint after these experiences. Reviewed by Julia on 29/05/2007 Build quality & performance very poor. Filter broke within a fortnight of purchase- Hotpoint said as this was a "disposable" it was not covered by the 1 yr guarantee. At just over two years old the motor burnt out - not worth replacing. I wouldn't touch another Hotpoint with someone else's bargepole. Rating:
