Reviewed by Sally Thomas on 23/01/2012 Have had this for about 2 years . Lovely - Oven heats up quickly. Use the oven and Microwave all the time. Guess What!! The latch has broken . Including part and labour £100 to Fix.It just won't work if door not closed with latch. Very disappointed. Rating:
Reviewed by Ed on 09/01/2012 Exact same.....door latch broken. Frustrating when the rest of it is in perfect nick. Trying to get spare parts out of the Panasonic registered repair centres is murder too. If you can, its £20 for them to look at it, £35 + VAT for a minimum of an hours labour + whatever they charge you for the part - you can get a new one for £70. Hardly worth it. Considering my last oven lasted 12 years - the 2 years out of this is poor. Badly designed. Not good enough Panasonic Rating:
Reviewed by Lorraine on 04/11/2011 We have had our microwave for a few years but sadly the door latch has now broken. Rating:
Reviewed by Natasha on 29/04/2008 Microwave was great but same problem - the door latch broke making it unusable - only mine went after 13 months - so no warranty! Rating:
Reviewed by Mark on 11/02/2008 Excellent microwave, only 1 issue the door latch breaks within 9 months of reasonable use. Door will not lock, therefore becomes unuseable. However still under guarantee so hopefully I can either get it fixed and expect a similar event in 9 months or hopefully exchange for a model with a less tacky & poorly designed door latch system. Sorry Panasonic not good enough, you expect light bulbs to fail after a certain time, but a £170 kitchen appliance, I really hoped for several years problem free use. Mark Rating:
