Hopeless, it does not sit on the contact properly and fails to boil or suddently starts heating without being asked.

This kettle is absolutely disgraceful, completely horrendous. I love the hot beverages but not from this ghastly appliance! I burnt my little pinky on the steam that escaped through the handle! The excessive steam from the lid steamed up my prescription glasses to such an extent that I was unable to see the open cupboard before me, to which I preceeded to walk straight into it and was left with a rather nasty bump in a certain place that i'd rather not say. I also broke my prescription specticles in the process resulting in not being able to find the kettle after making my way out of the cupboard - so all in all I had a bad kettle experience and was left thirsty. I shant be recommending this kettle to any members of my book club as well as my fellow klingons at the monthly star trek convension. If you wish to be able to see where you're going DO NOT BUY THIS KETTLE!

OK, this kettle does look alright, but that's probably about it. Takes ages to boil, and the cord is too short on the base.
I've got to say, if I had my way I wouldn't bother using it - it's a work one!
Rubbish!
