Reviewed by bill on 24-05-2006 Looks smart but thats all!
Bought for a xmas present 2005, poor design spout, element cover showing signs of corrosion, today element blew!!!
Dug previous 5 year old kettle out of loft works a treat.
I'll want my money back not another one!
Ps. pity rating only goes down to poor ( 1 ) I'd give this -3! Rating:
Reviewed by Jackie on 08-03-2006 Purchased this kettle last year and agree that it is easy to clean, except
that the housing for the filter (very necessary in my part of the world
with very hard water) came adrift from the kettle body last week. Rating:

Bought this kettle 29/10/05.Immediately found out that it was unable to pour properly, spilling water every time it was used. The plate covering the element began to show signs of rust after six weeks, gradually getting worse every week.Last Monday the element blew.DO NOT BUY THIS KETTLE! Rating:
Reviewed by Dorothy on 05-01-2006 I have to agree with Catriona who placed a review on 24-11-2004, this is an excellent looking kettle and a great conversation piece during dinner, but unfortunately the design flaw has let it down with the potentially serious pouring problem.
Tis kettle should not be used in a home with children. My teenage daughter
(14yrs) loves playing Mum, I feel i could not supervise her to make a cup of tea with this kettle as when the kettle boils and is reasonably full, hot water spurts out of the spout aswell as water spills out of either
side on pouring.
I have found that my old kettle actually heats the water hotter than this new one but also on pouring leaves a very annoying dribble down the side
of the kettle from day one of purchase. Rating:
Reviewed by Catriona on 24-11-2004 Although this is an excellent looking kettle and has quite a lot of good design characteristics, it unfortunately also has a severe design flaw in that it is terrible at pouring and can be quite dangerous in spilling boiling water from either side of the spout. It is ideal for people using hard water as it is so easy to clean/descale, but is sadly marred by the potentially quite serious pouring problem.
Not recommended for use in a home with children. Rating:
