A few years old but has developed leak at bottom of handle just above the electrical bit- clear design fault

I'd agree with the other review, but would add that the first model had to go back as after boiling it many times, the water still tasted metallic. We feared the replacement would be the same as it took a while for the taste to go but it seems ok now.

this is overall a good kettle, it boils fast, it looks good. but there are a couple of issues that crop up, the stainless steel body heats up a considerable amount whem boiled, opening the lid can be awkard as you tend to feel that you will bang you hand off the handle. however, the spout is big enough for the lid not to be used and the kettle is cleaned easily the removeable filter makes it a good kettles the own when living in a hard water area.
