Rating:   Reviewed by karen on 11-02-2006 I was one of those sily people that thought if you pay more you get better value. First kettle i bought leaked water on the base within 6 months of purchase causing whole electrics to blow in the house. Took it back and got another thinking just a one off. Now after another 6 months guess what this kettle leaks exactly the same. Obviously there is a serious problem with this kettle so do not buy. I bought one because of it's good looks and thought an expensive kettle would work well, silly me.........the base flooded with water after only 6 months and is highly dangerous and I've since read other reviews that report the same problem, and customer services were very unhelpful.
