bought this iron 2 days ago. I usually go for tefal and decided to try a different brand. This iron is going back to the retailer today! The steam setting should allow you to steam iron from setting 2 to 3, but if its set any lower than half way past 2 the water leaks out of the plate at quite a rate. I will be replacing it for a trusted tefal again.

Found Iron too light weight and could not find a happy medium with steam switch, this kept causing iron to loose water on clothes, very irritating. Took iron back and got my money back. Originally had Rowenta, electrics blew, so looking for another one similar because it was brilliant, had had it for 10 years.
