Reviewed by Rod on 20/01/2011 What a good idea that you can take the plates off and put in the dish washer, a shame the rest of the product is rubbish. Got my first one exchanged because it must be faulty as it took over 30 mins to cook thin sausages not the 5-6 mins the book states. Got a refund in the end. So dissapointed. Rating:
Reviewed by Alison on 23/03/2007 Don't waste your money. Although the grillplates can be taken off for cleaning - a good thing, heat transfer is compromised so the grill plates are not hot enough for cooking and sealing meat etc. It took me a good 15 minutes to cook bacon rashers that would have taken a few minutes in a hot frying pan. Reviewed by heather on 08/09/2006 What can I say - I am SO disappointed. To me the food is steamed rather than grilled, takes ages to cook and definitely does not have the char grill marks which are evident on the front of the accompanying booklet. My Le Creuset Grill is cheaper, better and of course, the fat is left in the grooves of the pan!! So What is the point of any George Foreman grill? Since I have voiced my opinion lots of folk have said - well, yes, we have one but never use it.I think this machine is one of the big cons around just now.I have spent £90 and fell very foolish.
